Russia on the way to WTO

Right now Russia  is closer to entering to World Trade Organization than ever. Of course entering in WTO will provide new opportunities for Russian and worldwide companies. Low barrier for Russian oil and gas to Europe and in other hand less problems for international companies in Russian market.

We can expect more business contacts, interests, representatives etc in Russia. Russian market it is high-margin new wide market for consumer and b2b products but there are stones and problems that will face new companies on market. There is lack of quality services for customers so international companies will be able to come in almost any market but for sure investment and location will be needed.

One of problem is administrative barriers that weaking business not registered in Russia. Other problem is language - not a lot of Russians speak English, then Russian specific without knowledge of it almost not possible to get profit out of investment.

Looking on Russian market we can divide it in two: Central or Moscow region and regional that also can be splited in federal zones: Northern-Western, Volga, South, Ural, Siberia and Far East.
